Lunch today at The Waffle before we headed across the street for a movie.
Lots of people sitting outside with their dogs. There must have been four dogs there.
We still found outside seating and had a good view of Sunset Blvd.

My friend said it was her last day to eat whatever she wanted for the holidays - so she ordered the Cornmeal Jalapeno Waffle with a fried boneless chicken breast, and  gravy. She said it was not spicy at all, and she did like it.

I decided that I was done with all the holiday eating craziness and wanted something healthy. I ordered sliced roasted turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, coleslaw, applewood smoked bacon, avocado and Gruyere on whole wheat with a side salad. I asked for no thousand island dressing on my sandwich but instead a side of mayonnaise.
The sandwich was piled high - so much so that it was hard to take one single bite.
The side salad was wonderful - greens, cucumbers, tomatoes and radishes. I love radishes !

We sat outside at the Waffle for a while. People watching. People and their dogs coming and going. It was very busy, and a very fun way to spend lunch.
I told my friend that I definitely have to come back here for breakfast.
